Olivier Tison a refreshing take on the otherwise tired genre of house music. Oui ennui pays hommage to the classics in tracks such as the closing title Mirror Party which lets you beg for more like in the early morning hours. A musician to follow. get well soon mate Favorite track: Mirror Party.

Story Time: About six months ago, I performed live for the first time in 15 years. It was a transformational experience. Little did I know that live (in-person) performance would go the way of all flesh. At any rate, my performance was dancey in nature, and the response was immediate and humbling. I remembered James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem talking about how when you make dance music, you know if it's successful by whether or not people are dancing. They were. And smiling. So I decided to make a "dance" album.

Fast forward to two weeks ago. I'm at home and start shaking uncontrollably. Sweats, chills, chest pains, the worst stomach issues I've ever experienced, nausea, dizziness, headaches, shooting pains, etc. You guessed it: COVID-19. During the worst of it, I wondered if everything that I've been working on would ever get heard, even by one person. Morbid, I know, but that's the way I felt. Though I'm woozy and weak, today I'm able to stay out of bed for a bit and eat normal food. I do not take this for granted.

They say you never finish an album; you just run out of time. So today I'm releasing this album as is. There are other tweaks I wanted to make, but I reckon they don't matter. #pandemicperspective

I present Sirius Bismuth. Because this is Serious Business. But so is Dancing. So Let's Rock. Like Stars. Have a Mirror Party. 😘
