I'll be brief. Boxer brief.

One year ago today at 11:31 pm CST, I started shaking uncontrollably. 'Twas the beginning of a fantastic voyage known as Covid-19. These are the two songs I was working on that day. Presented as they were then, no additional edits or improvements.

Piggy: Before I became fully obsessed with synths, my primary instrument was guitar. I hadn’t played with any seriousness probably since 2011. Just a simple two chord riff. Distorted and dirty. Lyrics were freestyled. Everything is first take, just trying to get the idea down. I also hadn't sang in about two years due to a mysterious cough. As such it's pretty rough. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Monkeys: Just messing about with the Prophet-6, a tape echo, and a digital delay. That is all.

The song lengths are a happy accident. That it happened to me on tax day and how taxing it's been on my body is some kinda cosmic dad joke. LQTMS.
